Navy Blue is dope. If I had to fall back on a comparison to get people interested I would say, "Have you ever wondered what Earl's music would sound like if he stopped being such a weirdo and just made songs again?" that's what Navy Blue sounds like to me. He has a relaxed, effortless flow, but the music has structure, and the beats are kind of laid back without giving the whole thing a sleepy vibe.
At the least I suggest anyone looking for something new give this a try AND LET US KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!

I listened to his album Àdá Irin a bit and liked it so I'll check this out too. I agree that he sounds a bit like Earl but less weird. There is so much coming out these days that it's hard to keep up so I appreciate when someone recommends something specific!

a strong feature, too! what was his last straight-up rapping feature? i had to do a double-take and make sure it was him for a second since he's so generally MIA these days...
4. "not sure when his last feature was honestly...Gibbs?" In response to Reply # 3

Prior to that though no idea. I wonder how Navy locked him down.
