He's at 1:27. It's funny because I saw De La in March and I went back and watched a bunch of their old videos before the show, including this one. Until then, I probably hadn't seen this video in close to 25 years.

"I say G's are making figures at a high regard, and niggas dying for it nowadays ain't odd, investing in fantasies and not God, welcome to reality, see times is hard, people try to snatch the credit, but can't claim the card, showing out in videos, saying they co-stars, see, shit like that will make your mama cry, better watch the way you spend it, cause the stakes is high"

It's weird that Tommy Boy would rather make no money at all than just give DLS a fair shake and make some money they otherwise aren't getting off this incredible catalogue.
Fuck them. So frustrating. I feel sorry for young people who have lost a decade of streaming, during which they could've discovered and fallen in love with De La. I feel bad that they have been robbed of the experience of hearing DLS for the first time.
I still can't find Monie Love in the video. Lol. And I was wondering, the people smoking in the bathroom, are they somebody we should know? That video is awesome and it looked like so much fun to shoot. The GURU cameo kinda made me sad.

Inspirational guy - I know of him through the running crew scene that started in NY + London, and he plays a big part in inspiring people to get out and into running

Dope
That Troy Polamalu reference was purely coincidental btw. I was looking at old Lyricist Lounge Show vids on YT and thought to myself his hair was looking very Polamalu-esque.
