I'm just now getting 'round to it myself, but it's really good. you know she's bringing it vocally, but the production is seriously on point; she's working with her old Sonnymoon collaborator and members of Hiatus Kaiyote are poppin up all through the credits. even the guest rappers (whose presence I was iffy on) keep things in the pocket.

It's not flawless - listened to as a record, a few spots fall into a lull, particularly on the latter half - but track for track it's exceptional.
That first half gets me though: the weird darkness of "Worm's Playground"; the insistent energy of "Nerve"; the cool, laid-back funk of "Count Your Blessings" ... both of those latter tracks honestly should have been hits in some universe.
I think this will be a sleeper album, something that over the next few years slowly gets more acclaim. It's too good to not have a second life.
