Was wondering whatever happened to that A-F-R-O kid. Although I see that while he's still a great technical rapper, he still cares more about flexing his vocabulary and rhyme schemes than saying anything that actually sticks.

I haven't listened yet and I've kinda been putting it off because I'm anticipating being disappointed by it. Their first album was so dope that it'd be hard to recapture that magic. And naturally we're all gonna go in expecting to be blown away again like we were the firs time. It's unfair but it's natural.

A finally got Gabriel Garzón-Montano's debut Bishouné: Alma del Huila. I bought his 2nd album Jardin (2017), and LOVED that. So I figured for Bandcamp Friday I'd cop his first. BUT, his new joint Agüita drops in October.
