...personally I'll be picking up the regular vinyl since I don't need the OG versions, but I wouldn't knock anyone who grabs the box set, I can't imagine they'll be many of them. Also, I don't think I've came across any DeBarge remixes, that's dope.

...i often wondered why as dope as he is on the mic, his output is more as a producer. ...and yes, anyone who hasn't seen him spin live? He's SUPER DOPE, one of my favorite DJ's who's got an amazing ear, plus he's nice as fuck with the scratching, blends and timing.

It trips me out that his career as a solo rapper pretty much ended close to 25 years ago. Since then he's rapped on the DITC project and a few scattered guest verses, but he's mostly worked as a prodcer.

Haven't had the pleasure. Would love to catch him live, but in this day and age, who knows when I'll have the chance again.
