Shit, I don’t stay up on new music as much as I used to so I’m getting around to this album a little late, but this Jericho Jackson joint is straight FIRE. I always thought Elzhi was so dope but something about his albums just missed the mark separating good from great. It’s like he finally found the right producer with Khrysis. I don’t know if they was on the same record with LB’s “Where you gonna hide” since I don’t know who produced it, but it’s good they finally linked up for an entire LP. Once again the one-producer album proves to be the best formula for the solo artist.
Anybody else think highly of this album? Know if there are plans for a second?

It’s strong all the way through. Great combo.
9th did Hiding Place. Khrysis’ only beat on that album was “Watch Me”.
I don’t know if there’s plans for more, but I hope so. I know they were credited as Jericho Jackson for the song “Machine and McQueen” off the Jamla Is the Squad 2 album - which came out after their album.

Cool...I gotta take a look into this Jamla thing, I kind of remember hearing the name somewhere but I never really checked it out so I don’t know what it’s all about. But if Khrysis and Elzhi are involved it’s def something I wanna look into.

Jamla is the Squad 2(and the first one) was a compilation album featuring all the labels artists and producers along with some outside guests. IMO it was a solid album.
Khrysis is part of “The Soul Council” which is the label’s production team.

You know I forgot I even have Lead Poisining. I bought El’s first album, the one with COLORS on it and I think a joint called Talking in my Sleep, I forget the name of the album but it was dope but had a few misses on it too. I picked up Lead Poisoning but something about it didn’t catch me at the time and I forgot about it. Now that you mention it, I’ll have to check that out again. I don’t know if there was too much R&B on that album or what, but something made me put it aside. Could have been my mind state at the time I guess.
