I missed the version on Gordon Gartrelle Radio and the link on YouTube isn't available in the US.
If someone has the ___ of this or at least a streaming link, I would truly appreciate it.

- Great interviews with a lot of his early collaborators
- You get a real sense of how Stevie learned to write songs and music.
- Stevie wrote "Thank You Love" (1966) and "Summer Soft" around the same time (mind blown)!
- Did NOT know his mother helped him write.

There's so much more. But yeah, this is solid.
Each episode is an hour, and there are 6 of them.
It was made in 1977, so the focus is mostly on his
early days at Motown, and the growth from Little Stevie Wonder to Stevie Wonder.
Well worth your time if you're a fan.
There are a lot of songs in his early catalog that I gotta check out now.

It’s really remarkable how much he did and how influential he was so young.

Out of all the stories I've read/seen about Motown, I love hearing about how they would fight artists about certain songs that eventually became hits. Stevie's version of "For Once In My Life" sat on the shelf for years before they released it, and it became a hit. Marvin Gaye turned in "What's Goin' On?", and Motown didn't know what to do with it. I love hearing about the change, I love watching a company struggle with how to be progressive yet stay true to their roots. Granted we have hindsight on our hands. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall when they heard some of this music for the first time not realizing that the world outside of Hitsville was changing faster than they could manufacture the hits.

rant over.
