Before he was part of PE 2.0, which was the "next generation" of the group. They had put out two albums and do covers of Public Enemy songs and original material. He also dropped an album on his own earlier this year.
And yeah, that new Enemy Radio album is pretty damn good. "Man Listen" is probably the best song on it, but tas a whole, it's dope and the album affiliated with Public Enemy in quite a while.
It's a shame that "Loud Is Not Enough" got tied to whatever is going on with the group right now. Chuck D is saying ousting Flav was a "hoax" or "publicity stunt" or a commentary on the media. Meanwhile, Flav is denying everything.
Regardless, the Enemy Radio album deserves better.
