Just copped the vinyl for this album. Bought a few t-shirts back when they dropped. Bummed out that all the concerts had to be cancelled - was going to catch them in either Brooklyn or Boston - or possibly both. I’m supporting everything they do. Just glad they’re back.
13. "Last time I was there was the night we killed Osama" In response to Reply # 10
First time I went to a show by myself. Was there to see CunninLynguists and I was camped out at the bar between the 14 different opening acts (prob not 14 but my god do some of these shows have so many random local dudes "performing").
Ended up being glued to the TV for the remainder of the pre-show til CL came out (which was prob close to midnight, the reason I can't go to hip hop shows anymore unless it's a weekend).
As I was thinking about it right now it was the first time the irony of being at a club called Middle East the night we killed Osama hit me. For the years since I always remember being at a CL show the night he was killed, not being at Middle East.
Anyways, nothing of substance regarding COVID and local joints future to add to this conversation, typing out CunninLynguists just always makes me chuckle so I love finding reasons to do so.

while sheltering in place, lol...Phonte on Jemele Hill's podcast was pure joy. They have a great chemistry and it was cool to hear them chop it up over a lot of different topics...LB related and otherwise.
