"Mac Miller - Circles"

Enjoying this discovery even though I didn't really get into Swimming. Peeped this review and decided to check for it:
https://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/mac-miller-circles/

Atmospheric and maybe because of the timing this week (RIP Mamba) I'm thinking about loss/lives cut short and it hits a little harder.

He's pleasantly vulnerable/soulful. Liked what he and Jon Brion did here sonically as well.

Appreciate the path he took in ranging widely in his musical output in a short career. Understand better why so many folks of his contemporaries were struck when he passed.

respect,

A lot of it seems like he knew something was coming whether it was recovery or death, but it is very somber for me.

I dig the direction he was going in. Seemed like a really good dude too, gone too soon.

i think Mac had an absolute classic in him, just didn't quite get there. I alwys felt like he was two albums from his classic.

That Tiny desk was good too, I think it was a month before he passed.
