What ever happened with the D'angelo documentary, "Devil's Pie"? Is it available to watch anywhere, or was it just for the film festival?

Not sure what the distro of the film is going to be, but I did catch it last Fall. It was...alright. But cool for an artist who typically does not grant much access let people take a little peek behind the curtain.

This gives me hope that a .rar or .zip file is floating around on the Internet or that will someone will upload it to YouTube soon. People post DVR rips all the time.

Off-topic: The Betty Davis documentary that came out last year is now available on DVD and on select rental and streaming platforms. It's called "Betty: They Say I'm Different."

At one point I was unsure if they actually sat down and talked with D for this film. His first sit down interview doesn't come until about 20 minutes in.

saw it in chicago a couple months back....nothing groundbreaking, but good to see him still. tour footage, both past and recent was cool also
