"Songs for the Gulf Coast"



After Hurricane Katrina there were quite a few songs that mentioned New Orleans, Gulfport, and the other cities and towns affected by the high winds and flooding. I wanted to put a mix together of songs that made reference to Hurricane Katrina. I already can think of Hollywood Divorce where Wayne referenced it but are there any jazz, blues, rnb or other hiphop songs that ya'll can think of that made you think about the loss of lives, property, and community during Katrina?

America has imported more warlord theocracy from Afghanistan than it has exported democracy.
