...TOTALLY fuckin agree...I don't get it. Read/heard he pulled some shady shit on Domingo years ago, so maybe people with heat won't work with him anymore, only reason I can come up with. Can't call it really...

Do you remember what he said? The only thing I can recall is KRS saying that Premier charges too much. There was that issue with Domingo but I think that was cleared up. KRS has done albums with True Master and Showbiz in the last decade so he does have some good producers. My favorite beats on one of his semi recent projects were from The BDP Album that was produced by him and his brother. He should stick more with Kenny in my opinion.
I think my biggest problem with KRS' recent output is that he doesn't seem to put as much time into them and talks about how he does an album in a weekend or whatever. I think he is more interested in touring and lecturing and writing books. He's supposedly written 7 books in the last couple of years. I just wish he would dedicate himself to a full fledged album every few years where he took his best lyrics and got with the best producers and put his whole heart into it. Would love to see him work with Apollo Brown, Exile, Beatminerz, Preemo, Kenny etc.

Premier charges too much?? HE'S GOD DAMN DJ PREMIER. KRS knows damn well that the songs he made with Premier are by far the most impactful ones of his solo career as KRS not BDP. Pay the man for just 2 beats for your next LP and it becomes a must hear record.
