the interviewer does a good job of creating rapport and getting into some nitty gritty questions. they go into the role death and grief plays in his music, spirituality and how learning to play an instrument in real time is influencing his creative process. real good read.

I admittedly haven’t heard a lot of his more recent work. however, I recently bought the instrumentals to You’re Dead, and it’s *dark* (which I guess is to be expected with a title like that). figured I’d wait for a potential instro release of Flamagra before diving in.
as far as interview, I feel many people (this one included) tend to ask him the same questions a lot, which is why a lot of stuff sounds familiar. I enjoyed this one quite a bit, but I really don’t need to hear about his aunt again.
