That's obviously a remix/Part 2 of sorts, so I hope it's not just a remixes/b-sides type album but of course I'll take any new + new-ish De La I can get.

And De La always sounds so good over his production.
(2) *that's* the Pos that was so glaringly missing (for the most part, at least) from Anonymous Nobody. I love that album for what it is, it has some high highs and I like the experimental nature of it ... but Pos just didn't sound like himself on that album on most songs IMO.

I said at the time it was released that this album was, IMO, the first time Trugoy was clearly the better MC on a De La album. He carried that shit big time.
Pos wasn't a slouch, to be sure. I just thought his performance was below his usual standards. Meanwhile Trugoy was on a tear !
Just went and re-listened to Whoodeeni for the nth time. Good Golly Dave destroys this track.... and this is def the track that had me looking for more 2chainz

Yeah I agree that Pos was under par on this release. Which was really strange as before this album I had considered Pos as one of only a few MC’s that always rap at a godlike level with 100% consistency.

This one, plus another snippet from the video titled “Pos in the Stew” (ft Supa Dave West) had me excited back then. Half of Anonymous Nobody just didn’t work for me, so I’m hoping for the new stuff to be more consistent in tone.
