"Alchemist - Yacht Rock 2"
Anybody check for this? I love it. His circle of emcees are some of my favorites currently rhyming: Roc Marci Benny El Camino WSG Motherfucking Conway Boldy James Meyhem Lauren
Roc Marci’s manager said Roc’s next album is coming soon. Hopefully it’s the collab album with Alchemist! Or the collab album with KA.

First impressions were positive - beats were solid, a few underwhelming verses, but the tracks are short enough that those don't distract from the overall quality.
Alchemist is one of the more prolific producers out there in terms of compilations or EP/album releases - but he always puts a lot of thought into each of them and it shows in the overall quality.

He puts a lot of thought into each release. Whether it be the Yacht Rock series... The instrumental EPs that all have a different theme based on region or sound ala Madlib Beat Konducta series.
I love that he still puts out 12”s. One of my favorite joints from last year was him and Roc’s ‘In Case You Forgot.’ He just put out a crazy 12” with Schoolboy Q. And the physical of a Meyhem Lauren song from earlier in the year about to drop I think. Cool packaging.
