To people like US, a record is a piece of history. A moment in time.
Most people don't get it.

I love "What's inside my bag"...when I actually recognize the artist.

One of my favorite episodes features J. Rocc and Karriem Riggins. I'm embarrassed to say I've watched it like five times. LOL.

It was cool to see J.Rocc & Riggins had but felt kind of boring, I'm not really liking Amoeba's new format of having the in a private room verses them standing in the aisle, it seems somewhat staged oppose to the spur of the moment feel their interviews use to have.

Maybe I'm just being picky or too critical, it's just artists shopping for tunes not a deep discussion, idk.

I understand. I thought J. Rocc was funny and I liked Karriem’s anecdotes about his childhood. It shows how deep into jazz he’s been all of his life...finding Miles records in cabinets in his house.

...when they were in the aisle, I kiiiiinda felt like they were actually buying the records where as when it's in the room, it's like they went out and picked records JUST for the interview only for the Amoebe employees to return them when it's over.
