I listened to about half of it yesterday. I was liking it. I’ll check out the rest of it, hopefully later tonight. Erick seems to still got beats, based on what Ive heard so far. Solid guest list, though I was surprised that Redman isn’t on it.

Erick barely does any of the beats, and I'm really not checking for his rhymes like these days. Mostly, it seems like there's way too much pop appeal stuff, like he's trying to chase radio play with this one. I don't even know "radio play" looks like in 2019, but if you're a 30 year vet, chasing the kids with R&B singers and stuff that was tired 10 years ago. On the one song his does produce, he sings using fricking autotune on the hook.
I liked two songs, and those mostly because of the beats. "My Style" with Raekwon and Nore was fine (though I didn't like Nore's verse) and the title-track, produced by Apathy, was cool. Otherwise, not messing with this.

The intro is flames. RJ Payne was spittin.
Always nice to hear AZ on a beat like "Tha Game", and Stylez P did his thing on there too.
GO! was an interesting track. I was just glad to hear No Malice again. His Christian era is kinda dope to me, the way he makes references without "explicit" language (Who you gon trust, definitely not a president// Heard it all before and being careful not to step in it)
My Style with Rae and NORE is fire. NORE's verse is old school in that it's kinda random and humorous. Dude is just fun to listen to... really takes you back.
You probably not a Hip Hop fan if you can't at least appreciate Cabinet.
Zion ain't the dopest song in the world, but I enjoy it. Probably because I love the new Banner and there's a rare Shaq Fu sighting.
May Sound Crazy is impossible not to like if you're a fan of Too $hort and Devin The Dude fan.
Had to appreciate Vernia. I was about to leave the house while the album was playing, but I finished listening out of respect due to the subject matter.
Those are the tracks that stood out to me, but I actually listened to the whole album without skipping anything, so I thought it was decent enough album as a whole.
it sounds dated to me. i dont think hes really going for a trap sound. its like hes trying to just keep doing late 90's/early 00's sound. the features were great some of them turned forgettable songs to ones i will keep in rotation. i dont know how long they will stay in rotation but its good to hear xzibit, no malice, devin the dude and some others im forgetting.
my style is the only song i think will stay in rotation but we will see.

First of all, Sermon did a Kickstarted to get this LP out....and it came out on time as intended! This doesn't happen much in hip-hop so that's dope in itself.
The album is on point for me because I didn't need Sermon to reinvent the wheel or anything. I appreciated hitting up the Erick Onassis sound towards the end, and there's enough guests to keep thing interesting.
Shaq being on this came out of nowhere, and for some reason I hate Keith Murray's verse on here but other than that I don't have much complaints.
He talked about his streaming company too, but all I could find was a Twitter link for that. His information about how streaming numbers and payments work was very informative tho. He and his business partner talk about that right before he talks about the sampling company.

I really love Erick over his own beats
