Didnt see a post for this. Griselda 2 for 2 with the major releases this year. It's hard for me to keep up with all the mixtapes, but this, the Chris Benoit, and the Alchemist EPs make for a bit of a breakout year for the crew.

gotta sit with it more but so far it's very bottom heavy, seems to pick up right after "97 hov". i thought benny was special when i heard him on "flygod" and "reject 2", he's definitely the real deal.

But sitting with it more... I like the first half of the album a lot.
He said 97 Hov... I feel like the production does have Vol. 1 vibes if Vol. 1 didn’t also have the sheen of Puff and Badboy production house.
Benny is dope. He thought he reminded me a lil too much of Ransom at first because of the way he does his multis, but on this album he’s switched up his flow a bit and the way he delivers multis on here is more complex than how Ransom usually schemes his multis.
I now know who Benny is. I still kinda trip at these guys shout out all the familiar buffalo spots, hoods, etc that I grew up hearing about. I guess this is what it must feel like to be from Brooklyn.
cuz, as much as I liked TT3 (It's on my list in the Favorite Albums of 2018 post), Benny is rappin even better on PIM...and the beats, as a whole, are better.
