I thought I'd throw out an appreciation for where the younger cats at the top of the game are heading. I'm as far from the culture day to day as I've ever been but I'm enjoying what seems to be a pretty vibrant mainstream as they mature.

You may pick on any one of them as (or as not) your particular flavor but as a group this generation of kendrick, aubrey, paak, sean, chance, joey, lupe, Q, thugga, oddissee, cole, YG, future, vince, etc..etc... have been creating a satisfying artistic range.

Without firing shots...I'd like to believe that maybe the premise of Control had the intended effect and has combined with our social crisis to make the music much more vibrant at the top end...
