So here's the dealie: Blueprint and Illogic, reknowned indie rappers from Columbus, OH, have a weekly podcast called "Super Duty Tough Work." The usually talk about hip-hop current events, trends, retrospectives, things like that.

A few weeks ago, Blueprint announced he's dropping a new EP, title "Vigilante Genesis", produced entirely by Aesop Rock. So for this week episode, Illogic interviews Blueprint about what it takes to release and promote an idependent hip-hop in this current climate.

It's pretty interesting, particularly about how he's had to work to shape the promotion to fit the project, how to properly promote the project through social media, fan interaction online and in person, executing the art of "selling without selling," and other nitty gritty stuff related to being an independent artist.
