Downloaded it Wednesday night. Was prepared to listen to it Thursday on the way to work, and... you can guess what happened.
But I'm still amazed at his work ethic and his commitment to putting out material. And truthfully, I've enjoyed just about every project that he's released these past few years. Only one I was so-so on was "Weed and Instrumentals," but that doesn't really count.

heard him on features here and there but never followed him
he instantly made me interested in his music through his peformance and some of the cuts he did. i mean....i thought that was a big deal cuz I usually dont pay that much to other JLR artists
but i got steak and shrimp 1 and it was everything i expected from his show and still fuck with it today.... howeved steak and shrimp 2 was terribly weak to me especially compared to the 1st imo.... so to see he got something else coming out is good cuz he kinda lost me. ill check it out

Was a fan for a long time but my interest kind of waned after the quality started dropping in 2012/2013 - are any of these standouts? Which tape from this year is his best?
I haven't checked out any other release except andretti - and I think it's dope. I'm assuming I'm about to have mind mind blown from his other 30 drops this year. werd.

that's about it for me too, so about 10 years ago. for me it's not that he's put out too much music, I just don't think he has that same special thing he had during his pre-the beautiful struggle run. kweli used to be so poetic, just lines that really stuck with you. same thing happened with common & mos.

Ghetto Gospel, Payback and Umbrella are all solid tracks for the luscious production alone. Worth your 20 minutes if you're even just a casual Curren$y fan or, like myself, hardly check for him these days
