I'm going with Jewelz.
Word...Life starts off stronger than damn near any album. 1-6 are amazing.
After that...there's not a song I dislike, but the album does seem to take a step down and somewhat messes with the cohesiveness for me. I feel like I want to replay the first 6 again.
Jewelz on the other hand is damn near perfect to me. I guess I understand the complaints that OC came a little more raw on this album and I'm not sure he took a step down lyrically but I do get the argument of not liking the style as much. Other than that...not sure what the flaw to this album is. Like I said before, he touches ALL bases here and never steps outside of his zone. He's got the battle joints, the story joints, the introspective joints, the love joints, the club joints. It's all there. And the sequencing is on point. The album has a nice flow to it where he hits highs and lows and changes pace damn near perfectly.
Honestly, the only thing that bothered me about this album was the transition from It's Only Right to Jewelz because the mastering is off and the intro beat to Jewelz comes it a little too hot and that's partially because I feel like It's Only Right is a notch lower than the rest of the album.
And as much as I love Win The G...I would've been more than ok if Your Life from the Soul In The Hole replaced that joint.

I know Word...Life has Born To Live and Time's Up and is classic 1994 hip-hop but I always go back to Jewelz. Not to mention when it dropped in 97 I played it all summer. Probably one of my most played albums.

I have to go with Word.
Like everyone else agrees, the first 6 songs are flawless and the sequencing is awesome. After that, meh, but the last 3 songs are just as great as the first 6 to me. I LOVE the raw production from this album. Jewelz is amazing AMAZING but it didn't grab me like Word did
