See I typically love slower, more relaxed/jazzy hip hop and that's why I like the Ye track more. But I love Pac's version just as much but it has more energy

Overall I think the Pacewon song wins because the quality of the verses is higher. I think the Pacewon drums make the neck snap a bit more. So I guess Pacewon, but I'd give the edge to whoever flipped it first.

...the same year (1995) that Pete Rock released "Searching Remix" promo 12", not sure why it never got released commercially but I was released in Japan as an official single.
Anyway, I had a Big L. "MVP" promo 12" released in 1995 that has an instrumental on the b-side that's not labeled correctly ( https://www.discogs.com/Big-L-MVP/release/508947 ), it says "MVP Instrumental" but it was suppose to be a Buckwild Remix of "MVP" instead so somehow it never got an officially released (until Buckwild released it on his "Diggin In The Crates: Rare Studio Masters" compilation years later) so they ended up using the same beat the same year for Showbiz & AG's "U Know Now Remix" ( https://www.discogs.com/Show-AG-Got-The-Flava-You-Know-Now/release/509327 ) which was also released in 1995 but neither 12" get a commercial release only as promos.

As I had said to Joey Joe, the two he posted didn't let the sample breathe. The Pete Rock, C.L. Smooth joint did let the sample breathe but not in the right spot, IMO. LBB is the one where it feels like the pattern is just right.

side note, I can't find ANYTHING on Yusef Dinero aside from the other tracks he produced for Unspoken Heard and J-Live, y'all know who else he produced for or if he has projects out? And another producer I'm looking for is The LG Experience who made beats for Ill Al Skratch, he is ILLLLLLL
