I'm always up for free music from established bands...
Come to grips with the fact that most OKP's are of the Nut Hugger lineage, so, if you' re not part of the little cliques that exist 'round here, your posts will probably tank like Souljaboy's album sales.

The high points are "You Satellite" and the closer "magnitized", but the over all feel is really scratchy and rock based. I don't know if it's because it's an mp3 but the vocals are mixed really low, and it seems to be mostly about feel here.
It also reminds me of Jeff's side project Tweedy, in that it sounds like they banged out some songs in a day in their loft or something. I'll have to let it sit for a couple weeks to really get my head around it. So far it isn't fucking with The Whole Love, their best post Yankee Hotel Foxtrot album, but it is a welcome surprise from a band thought to be boring and rote.

And have been since Wilco (The Album). That being said, I like/love 90% of their last three albums and they're still the best live show around.
Stars Wars is kind of more of the same from them (the live Pitchfork performance really made that evident) but the production is inspired this time. Makes a world of difference.
