I know this about a 5.99 sale but usually the price of the digital is the same or sometimes more than the physical copy.
I can't imagine buying the digital. Even if the argument is about space that the physical copy takes up, why would you pay the same price that is not only of less sound quality, but also cost the company/artist less to manufacture.
The physical copy involves a graphic designer to create the booklet, a manufacturer to produce the actual copies, shipping to the stores, people at the stores to check you out.
Shit, look how many jobs are being lost and people are paying the same damn price for less!

Blu Ray already does this for most of their movies. You buy the physical copy and it comes with a code so you can either stream it or download it from itunes.
Not really sure if physical CD's do this. I mean its easy just to rip it and throw it on your player of choice. This should be an option though.
Crazy now walking into a store like best buy and their physical music selection is so small now compared to how it used to be. IF its something I feel is "special" then I want to own the physical copy.
