Last thing I heard is Pam still DJs and owns a catering company. Boots did that thing with the guitarist of Rage Against the Machine. I live in the Bay…I don't think they've played in a while but I could be wrong.. Pretty sure Boots still does all his community organizing/political stuff out here.

It was released on the heels of his involvement with "Occupy: Oakland." Decent enough, but skewed a little too rock/punk for my tastes. There was some decent stuff on it though.
Probably time for the, to drop something else. Although these days they're taking four and five year breaks between albums.

he's got a unique voice, got flow, complex lyrics, great song concepts... all of that. "Me and Jesus the Pimp...." is the greatest story rap of all time IMHO.

At the Jazz Cafe...it was unreal. I don't know if I've ever seen an emcee bring that much energy to the stage like Boots did. Man, it was unreal. Definitely worth seeing him/them if they ever come through your town.
I haven't checked out the most recent album, but Pick a Bigger Weapon had some great tracks on it. Boots verse on My Favorite Mutiny is one of my all-time favorite verses.
