"Who has The Avalanches, Since I Left You OG release?"

I got mine in 2004 so I know some of the samples were removed by then. Is there a big difference between the original release and the versions that were released nationally? Is there only one version with the all samples in tact?

There are four distinct versions, having more interludes and explorations of certain passages. The original mix submitted is known as the Zomba Promo Mix, and has an additional song called "With My Baby" that goes between "Stay Another Season" and "Radio". It begins with a Virgil Fox sample before going into "With My Baby". That can be heard here:
http://youtu.be/wJ-Hwc_m2Fc?t=6m42s

Mix 2, the "Australian version', removes "With My Baby" and begins with the radio show about watching the TV before withdrawing all television viewing and commit the person to listening to nothing but "Radio".

Mix 3 is the mix that is known around the world, including the U.S.

The fourth version is the vinyl mix that caters to mixes 1 and 2 so that instead of songs being a continuous mix, the songs will fade out properly and longer. You can hear that here:

You also have the different radio mixes that aren't SINCE I LEFT YOU proper, but enhance different sections of the songs.

I was reading up on the album and I saw that the initial promo contained all the samples in tact. This was released in 2000 on Modular Recordings. When they decided to release it in other countries, some of the samples had to be removed due to sample clearance issues so the versions released in North America, Europe and Japan had some samples removed. Not sure how many or how they affect the listening experience at all since I have never heard the album in full as they initially released it. It was released to the rest of the world in 2001. Here are the listings on discogs http://www.discogs.com/Avalanches-Since-I-Left-You/master/94960

...I thought I gave the answers you seeked and 2) I wasn't sure if you meant "nationally" as in the country of origin for The Avalanches or the nation you call home. I was trying to be region specific. You got it, then.
