We all know Lil Wayne had the most success out of the group but think back to those first major label releases. Was Wayne always your favorite? I've always been a B.G. guy. From the time I heard Cash Money Is An Army I knew this was my guy. His album is still the best out of those first releases to me (yes better than 400 degrees). I think each everyone in the group had something to offer and really they shined on that Guerrilla Warfare album. Wayne had the weakest solo joint on there to me.

I heard him on 400 Degreez and said yeah....his flow is dooope. Not just the wobbelty wobbelty as Gillie said, but him on "Run for it" and "Rich niggaz"...the way he gets off on there is !!!!!!

Juvie was the focal point, BG had that young street shit down earlier.....but nobody can point to me a moment by Turk that comes close to Run For It ever.

i know for a fact that that isn't true. i didn't feel that way, and most ppl i knew didn't either.
whole lot of folx had wayne in 4th place originally. when he emerged as the dude, we were legit shocked.

it took me a long time to appreciate Juvenile, but a friend had that Chopper City CD and I was always fascinated with Lil Wayne as he's only about two years older than me and been on TV most of my life. I'm the guy that got giddy about Masta Ace's "Lil' Wayne/Lil' Zane duet" line because not only did I know the song, I had it on three different CD-Rs for my bike rides!
for me, Wayne won because of his verse on "Shine". That song was everything for me.
I'm still not sure I know who Turk is, one of my friends claimed Turk was the best in the crew though.
