just listening to "You are so Beautiful to Me" and the tone and also Billy Preston co Wrote the song and was a huge Ray Charles fan, however that is how Joe Cocker sang, so do you hear Ray Charles heavily on Cocker's voice? its amazing how influential Ray Charles was.

Ray Charles is a top 5 artist of all genres of music of all time. He mastered this music shit.

in which I can hear ray charles doing a version of this and ray sanged prince's tune "Uh huh" for the pepsi commercial back in 91 and i didnt even know that until i found it on a bootleg and they said that pepsi actually bought the song from prince.....

first track that came to mind... but yeah, obviously Joe (like Janice) was very influenced by the shouter school.
