The Comedian Harmonists, which performed from 1927 to 1934.
Five singers and a pianist. The Nazis made them break up because three of them were Jewish and one of them married a Jewish woman. They were inspired by American jazz and were banned from performing songs by Jewish writers before being banned from performing altogether.
