This will probably only appeal to a small sliver of weirdoes, but it's great lofi oddball rap. And unlike a lot of more out there stuff, the emcee has a relatable perspective and personality.

Listening to 200 Tree Rings right now, and so far so good, although the "Fngrrrz" track didn't really work for me (too long and the sample isn't interesting enough to carry for that length). Hook on "Forsee" doesn't work for me either.

I had heard of him through some mass email of a show he was performing a while back. Didn't go or intend to, but I watched some of the videos that were included in the email. I cracked up at the one where he was standing on a table performing at a Burger King lol.
Anyway, I was on the bus on Wilshire near Westwood, and across the street I saw a dude with a wolf mask on in a wheelchair. I remember seeing that mask before from his video, and although I couldn't confirm it for sure, I have a good feeling it was him up to some crazy shit. I wonder if he made a video that day or something lol. I'll have to revisit his stuff, it's weird but I can dig weird so *shrugs*

for not putting me on to this sooner. I'm mad.
I hate missing out on dope music but the thing I really like is that this is so different from everything else that's coming out. Between this and Open Mike Eagle I feel like my lurking on this board has really paid off lately.
