Usually I end up catching the repeats of Unsung later on during the week or a few weeks later but that channel needs to keep a set schedule for their shows cause it always seem like seem to come on at random other than their primetime shows.

Isaac Hayes is probably one of the most important artists personally to me... because when he was in his prime...as a very young person he took on a very Black mythical persona....just everything about dude just conveyed Black...... and in a very stylish yet funky cool way.

nobody like his music and what he presented and those incredible arrangements and textures in his music,

well....to be continued lp and hot buttered soul lp did it for me and now, if I see any of the other lps from Stax at any goodwills or thrift stores...I have to get it except maybe shaft soundtrack because I never have liked the song "shaft".....too much commercial and no heart.

Wasnt Issac Hayes a spokesperson for XM radio? because I remember seeing his picture on the xm radio website and he was promoting it and if I am not mistaken he had a station and the unsung special didnt make a mention of it.
