some soulful shit, I'm glad he didn't go the route of following all the other R&B acts into the EDM realm on his first single

edit: i mean the other "mainstream" r&b acts..

It's nice to hear JT back to his "Justified"/MJ-impersonations. This is easily Timbo's freshest production in a long time.

That chopped/screwed intro is HELLA wack though. Like, I hate it (and expect it to rightfully get cut in the radio edit). It's corny and I'm honestly not here for anything that sounds like that in 2013. I also really wish Jay-Z would have a seat. I don't care what he has to say on any song anymore, including this one. Otherwise, I support this.

long time lurker...short time okayplayer.

Didn't really need the Hov verse. Also, this might be the best Timbo beat I've liked in a few years.

songs alright. i definitely expected alot worse from timbaland given his recent output. jay z's rap ruined all the momentum though. i can see this gettin real old if overplayed.

still, its almost exciting that timbaland put out some shit that wasnt utterly wack. maybe he'll bring some heat on this album

this shit sounds like it was made for janelle monae. it's got that ethereal quality to it that's sort of her signature sound.

jay didn't really phone it in IMO, timbaland phoned it in w/ that wack ass switchup. they both sound awful over that part.

maybe i'll post an edited version later.

Song is flames flames flames and then Jay comes in and ruins the whole vibe. It's as if he learned nothing from Kendrick Lamar. I hated how the beat switched. That piano loop is ridiculous. Then Jay comes in and he's like "JT, Timbo, why don't you get rid of that dope beat and give me something shitty to spit to. I wrote a shitty verse" and there it went. Near the end I almost started to not hate Jay's part, then the real beat came back in and I was like "oh yea no I hated that".

Song will be a major hit tho.

Timberflake is generic as all get out. 6 years for this?

timberflake outta be doing some Michael Mcdonald " I keep forgetting" type joints instead of "Macy" runway ticky tacky turkey Muzak.

and the Camel needs to sit his lazy jive self on down.

Robin Thicke is turning over in his Grave that Timberflake is biting on him to try to sound grown and cool.
