to me, he's sounded more and more hungry since then. admitted he 'sold out' to get some more fans on Attention Deficit then sold into the game.


i've been disappointed as a fan at his Cypher verses.... knowing he's capable of much better than delivering them half-sleep, mumbled, passive bars

Folarin is pretty much an album, and you can hear it. While most major label artists do stuff with throwaways or an effort that screams STOPGAP, Wale puts album quality effort into songs.

I listened to the tape he dropped before Ambition, the Eleven One Eleven theory, and it's still better than his album.

It's a long ass mixtape, well produced and he's killin the flows. Good for Wale, he's doing what he does best, rhymin his ass off.

He's found a nice balance here. He splits the difference between his pop-rap and punchline styles quite well.

The Ross track is fire and the one with Chinx Drugz is maybe my favorite song right now, though Chinx kinda steals the song.

i was feeling that last mixtape but had mixed thoughts on the album when it dropped. this shit is pure heat though.
