And yes, I'm sure, cynical jaded internet poster who knows everything there is to know about show business without actually knowing anything about show business, I'm sure Geffen is more of an asshole than he's portrayed here, but this isn't exactly a puff piece, it's actually quite fascinating

Pretty good. If you are interested in more detail, read The Operator by Tom King. Not always a smooth read but definitely complete.
