D.Dot, Amen Ra, & him are still down with Diddy's Hitmen for mad years, don't know why they still produce for him when 75% of the time none of their beats get used on albums but I hear they get paid a regular salary regardless though.

I'm'pretty sure Diddy has those cats hemmed up in a contract where they can't produce for anyone outside of the BB camp even though he's not using their output nowadays.

because I hear some of his old beats on commercials (I know Burger King used that beat for that Mykill Myers/Freddie Foxxx song)
could also be Bump licensed the beat in his name and gives him money for it he's pretty tight lipped with the whole thing but he says it's now how he stayed comfortable and financed his own records

the word is he made so much money between 2001-2004 that he actually retired and moved outside of the country with his wife. he literally cut all ties with everyone in the music biz. stopped returning calls/texts/emails/etc.

me and my partners swore we were the next Needlz cuz he was starting to get lots of rap placements and we were trying to be the next on that tip.
but like all smart producers, you gotta go pop to really get paid. i slowed down but my partners went pop and now they are right on that edge of doing something that gets them REALLY paid.

I was listening to a song by Laster feat. Ed O. G. and was wondering where is Madsol-Desart now, he has produced some dope underground joints for artists such as Ed O G., Sadat X, Talib Kweli, Last Emperor, L. The Headtoucha, & etc.

Last I remember seeing of aqua was that article in Scratch where him and 3h were talking about how great their work ethic was in comparison to other cats.
I do think 3h went on to become an industry head as Kanye talks about him on College Dropout as the cat who was originally going to sign him.
As for aqua, who I think handled most of the production duties of the duo, a little humility might have helped his longevity.
Cats don't seem to understand that when you talk big talk and can't live up to it, you just become a laughing stock in retrospect.
