"David Foster Appreciation Thread"
We know of all the classics he did, but I just found out about this song here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1AF7d9bVkg - And said damn...I wonder how many other songs he's done that I haven't heard. This one sounds like straight EWF with the chord changes.
I didn't even know he did "For you I will" and some of those more recent songs as well.

The early 80s schalmzy movies' opening credits type.
He did Chaka Khan's "Through The Fire", a song I never ever ever ever ever ever EVA would've paid the time of the day to had she not been singing it. It drips with cheese.

I think I was good with that one all the way. You're right, Chaka Khan singing it saved it. To Dave's credit, his production didn't disrupt that of the rest of the album (which is a sentimental favorite; "Stronger Than Before" I've heard 2 other ways, and that production + Chaka's voice draws me to hers every time).

it's mostly known for the "white" version of "After The Love Is Gone" that is on there
but there are joints that is right up his composition alley called "Nothing You Can Do About It" and "She Waits For Me" that were favorites of mine when I first got that CD
