Ben Affleck
A Flock Of Seagulls - I Ran (So Far Away)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_Pq0xYr3L4

Why? His new movie is about the Iranian hostage crisis.

What I really wanted:
Taco Flavored Kisses For My Ben
http://www.southparkstudios.com/clips/154027/taco-flavored-kisses-for-my-ben

Why not? Southpark TV song.

-----
Cesar Millan
Bobby Darin - If I Could Talk To The Animals
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nvMcKbo0vYc

Why? He talks to dogs. (The Rex Harrison version is awful.)

Affleck - "Alive" by Joey Lauren Adams
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Pacd-jzyYQ

-or-

"God That's Good" from SWEENEY TODD
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5m_RUS-s-xM
(as a nod to the JERSEY GIRL scene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXZ-NAPnfsw)

I'm suggesting those two because I wanna give my boy Kevin some shine and also honor two great performances from Affleck (fuck the JERSEY GIRL haters. Come talk to me after you've seen the full extended cut that was butchered post-GIGLI).

Connie Britton - "Nightmare On My Street" by DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-56CNh5S7GU

I figured a horror song would work well since she's on AMERICAN HORROR STORY and also was in the NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET remake.

Cesar Millan - "Wait (The Whisper Song)" by the Ying Yang Twins
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYYjZeErFks

Since he's the Dog Whisperer

Ben Affleck
Solange's "T.O.N.Y."
REASON: He plays Tony in his new film, ARGO

Connie Britton
Stevie Wonder's "A Seed's A Star"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijPnGEu69Qc
REASON: Her new TV show is NASHVILLE, and Wikipedia states that it's about someone in her 40's who realizes her star status is not as bright as it once was (i.e. ageism). Thus... I pick a Stevie song that might seem unlikely, but I'll go there. Turn "A Seed's A Star" into country to make a point.

Cesar Millan
Baha Men's "Who Let The Dogs Out" (but whisper the lyrics or the barks)
REASON: He's THE DOG WHISPERER.

Ben Affleck:
"Making Movies" - Dire Straits
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3CDVLktIeg0 -- start at about 2:06, but be sure to watch the whole video for some early music video goodness.

(since his new movies is about getting people out of Iran by plannign a fake movie and since he is directing more movies now)

Connie Britton:
"You're Lookin At Country" - Loretta Lynn
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_zwBHvXIZQ

(She plays a county singer in her new show Nashville)

Cesar Millan:
"Careless Whisper" - George Michael
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izGwDsrQ1eQ

(I did not know until now that this technically *is* a George Michael song-- it was just marketed in the US as a Wham song. Thank god for Wikipedia, I was about to go off on Vevo for being historical revisionists.)

Christopher Walken - "A View To A Kill" by Duran Duran
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1-yaZYw-w4

He was the villain in the Bond film, and I love that damn song.

Pete Townshend - "English Boy" by Pete Townshend
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VstHIkq7Es0

His album PSYCHODERELICT was largely scene as a failure, but I love its narrative and ambition. I think "English Boy" might get a smile out of him.

Christopher Walken
Frankie Valli's "Can't Take My Eyes Off You"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGFToiLtXro
REASON: I know he may be remembered for some of his funnier works but for me, it will always be his role as Nick in THE DEER HUNTER, one of my all time favorite movies.

Pete Townshend
Pete Townshend's "Rough Boys" (the last 45 seconds)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkT8W6u81Ks
REASON: My favorite Townshend (solo) song, especially the last 45 seconds. In the 80's, this song and video became one of THE symbols of a new network called MTV. The last words in the song, "I wanna see what I can find", can be considered a reference to his new book, WHO I AM.

ALTERNATE (more daring) PICK:
Terry Riley's "In C"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjR4QYsa9nE
REASON: Terry Riley is the Riley in "Baba O'Riley", as Townshend considers Riley to be a major musical influence on him. Riley is known for his minimalist work, and "In C" is arguably one of his more famous works, playing one note (C) and seeing how one can variate from it. The intro to "Baba O'Riley" had been said for years to be the data code for his then-guru, Meher Baba, that he allegedly programmed into his synthesizers at his home studio. It's a bit closer to Townshend's love of Riley's works.

Tina Fey - "Paints and Brushes" by Tina Fey
http://soundcloud.com/ericandrew16/paintsandbrushes

I suggest this everytime she's on, so why stop now. It's her mock Joni Mitchell song from 30 ROCK.

Terry O'Quinn - "Bad Daddy" by Terry O'Quinn
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6nhg0HWxDBc

It's a song he wrote about STEPFATHER II

Lyrics:

Hey there little slugger--how you do?
I'm the man who lives next door, sure is nice to meet you
I could be a good daddy to--you.
Does your momma live alone? I'll be the best you've ever known,
I'll be a good daddy. Yeah.

Hey there lady, my name is salesman Joe
I notice that you live alone with your little boy and girl
I could chop some wood for you--my axe is in the car
Or maybe me and you, babe, could start a great big fire
I could keep you warm at night--I know how to treat you right.
I'll be a good daddy, yeah.

Then I, woke up this morning, I just had to kill my wife!
I hit her with some telephone, or poke her with some knife
Don't make no difference to me, any little tool will do me
I've been a bad daddy today
I just turn around, my whole family was gone, I've been a bad daddy.

To all the girl, I've loved before, who travelled in and out my door
I was a good daddy--once in awhile
I knew how to make 'em smile
But then snap-crackle-pop, I go over the top!
Turn into a bad daddy fast...

Christina Applegate
Nancy Priddy's "Christna's World"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NZ3zYcL8m4
REASON: Requested this for her before. Nancy Priddy is her mom.

Nick Offerman
The Dead Boys' "Caught With Meat In Your Mouth"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDJo3CoiiEw
REASON: His character of Ron Swanson is known for many things, and one of them is his love for meat. This Dead Boys song is a classic punk track with a very simple chorus:

"Everyone knows you were caught with the meat in your mouth"

The song itself obviously means something sexual, but when given to Offerman, it honors his character.

Why? The Pina Colada song was in both her movie "The Sweetest Thing" and in the pilot episode of "Samantha Who?". And someone already made a clip on youtube with both of them edited together.

Why? Change it to : Mr Offerman - Swanson!

Edit: I'm not sure why I think of shit like this either.

Salma - "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off" by Salma Hayek and Jimmy Kimmel
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEZnUFQtJR4 (a reworking of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2oEmPP5dTM)

I don't know how you feel about doing Kimmel songs, but you did "I'm Fucking Ben Affleck" for Jennifer Garner, so I'll throw this suggestion out.

Andrew Lincoln - "Walk Don't Run" by the Ventures
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIuIIqbyEIU

He's on the WALKING DEAD.

Peter Gabriel - "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway" by Genesis
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pteh5hdZlg

That's my jam.

Salma Hayek Pinault
LSG's "My Body"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMroejldwt8
REASON: It's Salma. Plain and simple.

Andrew Lincoln
Faith No More's "Zombie Eaters"
REASON: Lincoln stars in THE WALKING DEAD, a show about zombies. I go to one of my favorite Faith No More songs, which has zombie in the title but has nothing to do with zombies, I'm using it for title/word association. Thus:

"Hey look at me lady
I'm just a little baby
You're lucky to have me
I'm cute and sweet as candy

As charming as a fable
I'm innocent and disabled
So hug me and kiss me
Then wipe my butt and piss me"

Peter Gabriel
Genesis' "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pteh5hdZlg (go to the 2:07 mark)
REASON: Among some Gabriel fans, this remains the ultimate Genesis album. They made what is considered to be one of the best concept albums ever made, The Roots also made one. Thus I focus on this part of the song:
"And out on the subway,
Rael Imperial Aerosol Kid
Exits into daylight, spray gun hid,
And the lamb lies down on Broadway."

The main character of the BROADWAY album is about a kid who comes to New York and discovers the new and weird world of the underground world of the early 1970's. Rael is the "Aerosol Kid", the graffiti artist. The album is about Rael looking for for his brother. By the end of the album, it is explained (through metaphor) that Rael and John are one and the same person, and he basically spent the entire album looking for himself. The character of Rael is the 'riel in Gabriel, thus the use of the song shows Rael the Aerosol Kid stopping at 30 Rock, metaphorically heading back to Broadway (in spirit).

That's hip-hop right there.

Salma Heyek Pinault
shes a bad mama jamma - carl carlton
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HlrGlpQ_nLg

Why? The same reason you played it for Sofia Vegra - she's stacked.

-------
Andrew Lincoln
The Kingston Trio: Zombie Jamboree
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H69HODLlDMo

Why? His show is about Zombies.

---
Peter Gabriel
3rd Bass "Pop Goes The Weasel" (instrumental)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fum27LPqXAI#t=11s

Why? I really wanted to suggest a song by Phil Collins - but even I know that would be wrong.

Salma Heyek Pinault:
"Boom Shake The Room" - Will Smith
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qty_6JqsWNA

(her new movie is called "Here Comes The Boom" and, um, she's got the boom to shake the room.)

Andrew Lincoln
"Now I'm Feeling Zombified" - Alien Sex Fiend
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iacC7xdJ3t0

Peter Gabriel:
"I Know What I Like (In Your Wardobe)" - Genesis
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1tFQMjc-IE

(Since it is too difficult to pick a section of "Supper's Ready" and "The Lamb..." has already een chosen, I'll go with one of my other faves from the early Genesis days. )
