Jerry Seinfeld The Tubes' "Prime Time" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCp6Tc1Ph0w REASON: He will remain one of the kings of prime time TV, and looking at how syndication of his show has benefited him (and I'd like to think the rest of the cast), he knows what he's doing. I suggested this song for someone before, so I'll try again. The chorus is simple, so go to 2:33:
"I'll give you my prime time I'm saying my prime time for you Give you my prime time I'm saving my prime time for you"
Why? His new web series "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee."
A mashup with "Black Coffee IN CARS" by Squeeze or "Cup Of Coffee IN CARS" by Johnny Cash might work. Or use that Seinfeld Theme Song bass on Cars. (And don't forget NUMAN!)

Ricky Gervais D-Nice's "My Name Is D-Nice" REASON: While it seems other talk shows are talking about his days as a singer in the new wave group Seona Dancing, I wanted to turn the other way. He has a show called DEREK, and more shows are being written for it because it will now be shown in America. So since the song states that his name is D-Nice, but that people call him Derrick, I thought it would be fitting. Knowing me, I'm probably giving a signal to do a song by Seona Dancing but I'll go for D-Nice.

Justin Kirk nine inch nails' "Closer To God" REASON: Kirk stars in ANIMAL PRACTICE, where he plays an animal doctor. Instead of the *fuck* part, replace it with "cut" since he is a surgeon who wants to feel animals from the inside, otherwise he wouldn't have a job as a doctor.
BONUS: Instead of "fuck" or "cut", censor the word as if it was MTV or something, and replace it with sounds of a porpoise, elephant, or dog, so it becomes "I want to *porpoise sound* like an animal I want to feel you from the inside I want to *meow* like an animal My whole existence is flawed You get me closer to God"
OR... if Kirk wants to bust out his falsetto and turn the song into the Gary Numan-meets-Earth, Wind & Fire vibe I've always heard, focus on:
"Help me... You tear down my reason Help me... It's your sex I can smell Help me... You make me perfect Help me think I'm somebody else I wanna *bark* you like an animal"
(since there's a monkey on Animal Hospital-- "Do you love the monkey/or do you love me? is a question he's gotta be asking the show's audience -- in his head, at least.)
