"yo, that Roots/Dirty Dozen double bill almost worth trip to NY"


          

(would prefer Rebirth BB, but Dirty Dozen have that ropeadope connection to ?uest, and are awesome anyway)

I clicked on the front-page link when I saw The Roots + Bob Weir, which is.... interiguing, anyway, depending on who Bobby has in the band these days. But man, Roots & the Dirty Dozen together? I would LOVE to see that.

*looks at wife & kids*

umm

maybe they'll bring that show to Philly? of maybe the theater'll record these shows?


Anyway, don't know who set the bills, but they're all interesting choice of collaborations with the Roots touching on some of their core non-hip-hop audience (3d double bill besides Weir/DD is Karl Denson). Good stuff, fellas... wish I could be there.

$95/$65... add in taxes & fees

stands to reason the DD show will be less expensive.
