Why are you trying to construct possible hypotheticals to support your wishes?
Nobody is saying that Nas doesn't ever write his own raps. They're telling specific anecdotes providing examples of when he didn't.
Get over it. It's not that big of a deal.
>On the three tracks he produced ("Sly Fox", "Untitled", and >"We're Not Alone"), the credits read as follows: "Co-written, >produced, and arranged by stic.man." > >It's made clear that stic.man had a hand in writing, or >collaborating on the rhymes. There's nothing secret, or >"ghost" about that. It's possible he was responsible for more, >but why wouldn't he get credit for those as well? > >As far as Jay Electronica, we don't really know. According to >him, he "ghostwrote" "Queens Get the Money". That could mean >anything from coaching, to co-writing, to sliding Nas his >notebook on some Big Bank Hank shit. We just don't know yet. > >dream hampton's "I heard reference tapes for like, 6 songs" >(in reference to Jay Electronica) caught me off guard, but >then I sat back and thought about what that meant. How does >she know all six (or whatever the exact number is) of those >tapes were for Nas tracks? Jay could've written those with Nas >in mind, on his own accord, without presenting them. They >could've been for potential guest verses, or just rhymes he >wrote for himself at the time. Even if they were all >songs/verses commissioned by Nas, we don't know much of that >material made it to the album. > >dream hampton doesn't seem eager to talk about it beyond that, >so again, we don't know. > > >_______________________________ >gamblers and masturbators. > >http://urkelmoedee.com >http://urkelmoedee.tumblr.com >http://twitter.com/urkelmoedee > >PSN: UrkelMoeDee
