I just heard Cool C's "Glamorous Life" for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I can't for the life of me figure out how I could consider myself a Hip-Hop fan and not have heard it before. This shit should be as popular as Young MC's "Bust A Move." White people should be bumping this at wedding receptions.

gather songs for a Wedding she was going to where they needed to give the DJ songs since it was overseas, and this was the ONLY song I'd neeeeever heard or heard of. She swore I knew it...I listened...waited for the hook, and............said naww...........I've NEVER heard this before.

I wasn't into the Roots at the time, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE dropping this song on purists now. It's maybe my favorite rap song just for making people mad they enjoy it so much.
Teena Marie - You Make Love Like Springtime Somebody linked it in here after she died. What a gem....
Whitney Houston - Lover For Life Again, someone here referenced it here when she died. I was 9 when the album dropped & heard nothing outside of the singles. Top 5 Whitney song for me.
