Lately I've found that albums like this help me read faster.....I can't read while listening to things with lyrics because they distract me....and I have allot of fucking reading to do for school...stuff like DJ Kush, Madlib etc.....So what better place to find more dope hip hop instrumental albums than the lesson right?

Prefuse 73 "One Word Extinguisher" and "Vocal Studies and Uprock Narratives" (more along lines of glitch hop I suppose but devastating)
Avalanches "Since I Left You" (elements of Hip Hop but really a clash of everything)
HI Hat Club Vol 3 "Jazz Edition" (I recently discovered this and have been playing the record non-stop...excellent Jazz/Hip Hop hybridization. Hi Hat Club vol 1 is my second favorite of the series.
Blockhead "Interludes After Midnight" (My favorite from this artist and the newest to).
DJ Cam "Mad Blunted Jazz" (Overlooked and under-appreciated from 1994)
Flying Lotus "Los Angeles" or "Cosmogramma" (I don't even have to explain if you haven't been living under a rock. My favorite producer currently).
Dabrye "Instrmntl" (Overlooked but certainly contains a few gems)
Oh No "Oxperiment" (Madlib isn't the only member in the fam that gets busy behind the boards).
DJ Shadow "Total Breakdown Hidden Transmissions" (Has yet to be released but I can't wait to hear what Shadow sounded like with his trusty MPC still in tact from 1992-1996. Kinda geeked).
Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin, Amon Tobin (Not HIp Hop per say but my favorite study music comes from these artists).
