I'm really happy he's getting some fame now, he deserves it, the few times I met him he was extremely down to earth and just an all around cool dude.... but holy shit, has there ever been a bigger 180 pop makeover?

I still root for the dude, and again im happy for him, but wow i didnt think the crossover would be like this. his music was always poppy, im surprised they really needed to force him to sound like LMFAO.

I will say that his new songs are still better than most pop artists out there, but I just hate to see a talented cat like him become a full blown pop singer.

the pop scene has since declined somewhat noticeably, but when that song and a few others were hot, that was some serious pop excellence.
