again two different albums.
Keith's just odd like that.
I remember at one point he was dissing Automator and everyone assumed it was just Keith being bitter/crazy, but then a lot of other people called Dan out on being Grimey

6. "I dunno man I think Keith had all that before Doom existed" In response to Reply # 0
Keith had it popping from 1994 (Cenobites) to 1999 (Black Elvis/First Come First Serve). You could gather that he would have been bigger if the internet was a stronger force in that era, but on the flip the internet has allowed him to keep living off of music & shows 10+ years after his expiration date.

Doom's style is more adaptable and he has more total control of his sound, unlike Keith who was a great lyricist but really needed Dan to craft the sound
Doom's sound is Doom's sound. Niggas work with him and help him, but its more characteristically him.
And Doom is also more authentic because his personality in real life is actually like that; Doom seems to be as genuine an example of an artist using music to deal with themselves and their issues as I've seen. Daniel Dumile needs Doom.
Keith was just a bugged out creative nigga who worked with a cat who made dope, funky beats. Different animal.

he's about as nice and patient as they get. Definately one of the most humble(behind Pep Love and Bootie Brown)So, I doubt it has anything to do with his real personality.
9. "Yeah dude is pretty chill. I think he's really in his own world so much" In response to Reply # 8 Tue May-08-12 12:54 PM by micMajestic

that there isn't a lot that people can do to get on his nerves. Like if he had to sit and sign 1000 autographs he'd actually look closely at each fan and try to figure out which animal they resemble the most.

What in blue fuck does that have to do with what I said?
11. "Naw, Keith raps/rapped over terrible beats way too often" In response to Reply # 0
I think even if the time his albums came out were shifted back a few years so as to have dropped more so during the Internet age he still would have killed his momentum with some of the projects he released.
DOOM, on the other hand, along with his own appealing dusty loop beats, was rockin' over Madlib, Danger Mouse, Count Bass D, Jake One, Dilla, RJD2, and Jneiro Jarel tracks, among others. __ I don't like the beat anymore because its just a loop. ALC didn't FLIP IT ENOUGH!
Flip it enough? Flip these. Flip off. Go flip some f*cking burgers.(c)Kno

12. "no...Doom is WAY more linear than Keith" In response to Reply # 0
and Doom ain't the most linear dude in the world.
Keith's schtick, from Ultramagnetic to Octagon to his brief PORN obsession...just didn't come with the full animal like Doom...who is able to produce his own material and keep them thematically focused.
