"5 legend artists from the 90's in R&B"


          

are there 5 acts from R&B that came out in the 90's that you consider legends now and if so who are your 5 and why?

the obvious usual Suspects

R.kelly King of Chicago and R&B holding it down for 2 decades and counting hits, Jewlery, stats and longevity speak for themselves he is the last of the everyman R&B act 1)

Mary J Bliege no matter where you sit with her, the impact of albums, songs and her own lane keeps her in place and she isn't slowing down she has the stats, Jewlery and Longevity 2)

Mariah Carey same as Mary J, plus the crazy cross over love 3)

Beyonce big impact with a girl group and then solo and the touring,etc.. 4)

Usher still keeping it moving and still very successful 5)

all these acts got industry Jewlery, Stats and Longevity

mistermaxxx R.Kelly, Michael Jackson,Stevie wonder,Rick James,Marvin Gaye,El Debarge, Barry WHite Lionel RIchie,Isleys EWF,Lady T.,Kid creole and coconuts,the crusaders,kc sunshine band,bee gees,jW,sd,NE,JB

not on the others, braxton needed a bit more to make it IMO

I agree.

R. Kelly is a legend of any era. Personal drama overshadowed what he has done for music. He is great.

I would pay to see her anytime she's in town while I would never once go to an Usher concert in my life.
