"Beach House-like recommendations?"

I'm ready to dive into a style of music I've only flirted with until now. I got Beach House's first album and I'm in love ...and I need more. (still a little salty that I missed the 7" on Record Store Day...)

Who else can the Lesson recommend in a similar vein? And it doesn't have to be *identical*- just something kinda hazy/ambient/dreamy/lo-fi/dark (or not)/electronic (or not)... For another example, I just heard a track from a newer group called Purity Ring that I'm diggin. I'm REALLY excited to explore this direction, so gimme whatcha got!

I loved their first two albums, but avoid the third at all costs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llDZIh_B1yc

School of Seven Bells are another really good one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWtXttiKBzs

Edit: If that's your first Beach House album, you're in for a treat. They've gotten better with each album imo, though they haven't really changed their sound at all.

I just wanna know where to go next once my wallet recharges.

CondoM: yeah, based on what I read, it seems they've been expanding on the sound they started with rather than changing up. which is fantastic news for me.

. . .it was pretty reminiscent of Mazzy Star.

And maybe even the Cowboy Junkies' second album. EDIT: Trinity Session. SECOND album.

Really awesome ambient pop album, I prefer it to the much more touted Souvlaki....

Here are my fave 2 cuts from the album:
