I just bought my first Kanye album. I went with Graduation instead of Dark Fantasy. I just relate to the lyrics more as far ad the two are concerned, although i really like Runaway and am amused to learn it made Beyonce cry upon hearing it. She would fit in among Marie Antoinette's court for certain. Sadly, she would take that as the highest compliment. Why now? Finally figured out what I like about this guy, versus what I don't like versus the hype: he is literally a mash up of Rick Rubin and the RZA. He is a bridge where one didn't need one, so with that I can accept the gaudiness. The production talent is undeniable, but I was a doubter, not really a hater.
Taking shots in the dark/that's a bad call Going straight for your head/ gotta saw it off

yeah, it's a shame that he isn't doing it as much, but he really doesn't have to, it seems. I'd really like to hear what you'd think of Late Registration.

He also has at least 2-3 albums worth of b-sides/unreleased/guest verses on songs he produced that are as good as his albums. (Get By Remix, Grammy Family w/ Consequence, They Say w/ Common, "Alright" w/ Twista, In The Mood w/ Kweli, etc.)
