Yo, this is the most bullshit in the whole entire world. I feel like I kinda knew this already. But I've been listening to Spirit for the past week and randomly went to look if they were in the hall of fame. Now I'm pissed. So rather than be pissed let me tell you why Spirit is the greatest Rock band (no roll that goes to Hendrix) like period.
It's alrady fucked they get jerked out of that credit because everyone just refers to them as the band the greatest rock band ever stole from. But they can't even be recognized by the Hall, meanwhile mofos bitchin about a Guns N Roses induction. Not for nothing but what the fuck did Guns N Roses do? They ain't do shit. That's what. And I like em for what its worth but come the fuck on.
I said I wasn't gonna get bitter though right. Alright I'mma shut up and just runn this down the line:

They were one of the best bands in an era where the competition was lethal but they didn't really become successful while at the same time not sounding "underground"/atypical enough of the era to become cult beyond psychedelia/late 60's (as opposed to, say, Velvet Underground, Stooges, even Mothers of Invention to a certain extent). They had a sound that was simultaneously distinct *and* typical of the time but since they never really "made it", they will never become more than a cult-favourite for people specifically into american late 60's west-coast rock...

Ive been trying to get that rock hall committee to induct Roger and Zapp especially since they released Roger and the human body locally in ohio back in 1975 and the Zapp debut album with more bounce to the ounce and all of the Roger solo albums and just the impact that Roger had on music period.

what the hell you talking about with fuck all that.....Roger and Zapp were great....that was a very disrespectful comment with you basically saying fuck all the Roger and Zapp comments.....spirit is just ok.....they are not a big deal to me....and that album cover with the faces is STUPID.....
